Phoenix Desert Rose Chapter
#60 of Romance Writers of America®
ABOUT US
We are a
diverse group of more than 120 romance and multi genre writers affiliated with the national
Romance Writers of
America® organization. Desert Rose encourages its members through
each stage of the genre-writing career, from newbies with
a first manuscript to New York Times best selling
authors. Guests are welcome to attend up to two
meetings. Information on joining Desert Rose and RWA®
is available
HERE.
WHAT WE DO
Desert Rose
holds a
monthly meeting, publishes a monthly newsletter,
and works with our sister chapter,
Valley of the Sun
RWA® to bring events to readers and writers throughout the year.
Each year, we sponsor the Golden Quill contest
for published authors and we host Desert Dreams
every other year, which is one of RWA®'s biggest regional conferences.
