Born and raised in Chicago, Sharon credits her mother, who read to her regularly, with prompting an early and lasting affection for the written word. To her, books have always held a magic all their own. Still, Sharon, who dreamed of dancing for a living while she was growing up and eventually entered the business world, never considered a writing career until she moved to the Phoenix area and met Pierce Brosnan (yes, the current Mr. 007) at a local shopping mall.

It was a chance meeting that changed her life, because she found herself thinking What if? What if two fictional characters had met in the same way? That formed the basis for her first story, which in turn soon led to a cheerful addiction to writing contemporary romance and playing What if?

These days, Sharon still resides in Arizona, where she continues to do what she enjoys doing best, which is creating characters that come alive and produce their own happy endings. To her, nothing could be better, because Sharon truly believes in the power of love. She writes about it, reads about it, and is thrilled every time she sees it triumph in real life. And, boy, is she glad she met that handsome Irishman on a rainy day in Phoenix!

Sharon also loves to hear from readers. You can write to her at P.O. Box 21324, Mesa, AZ 85277.
