We Mentor Our Members to Success
Desert Rose is a non-profit
writers' group consisting of 120+ romance and multi-genre writers and
published authors affiliated with the national
Romance Writers of
America®. Desert Rose encourages its members through
each stage of their writing career from first manuscripts to New York Times best sellers. Guests are welcome to attend up to two
meetings. Information on joining Desert Rose and RWA®

monthly meetings, offer informative monthly newsletters,
and work with our sister chapter,
Valley of the Sun
RWA® to bring events to readers and writers.
Each year, we sponsor the Golden Quill contest for published authors and host one of RWA®'s biggest regional
conferences, Desert Dreams.

one-on-one critique sessions for our attendees.
You can either make a five minute verbal pitch on a project
or an idea or submit a one page query letter or one page,
